Each September, we commemorate Louisa Swain and her historic vote with a special reenactment at the Wyoming Women’s History House.

Weather permitting, we will hold the ceremony in the courtyard under our new mural that depicts Louisa alongside Nellie Tayloe Ross. If the weather won’t allow an outside ceremony, we will celebrate inside the Wyoming Women’s History House.
